2008년 가을학기가 시작되었다. 김광수 교수님은 많은 독서를 요구한다. 지난 학기에 요한복음에서도 많은 것을 읽고 생각하고 토론하며 사고를 증진시킬 수 있었다. 이번 학기에도 관심있었던 마가복음을 공부하게 된다. 생각할수록 흥미진진이다.

마가복음 세미나

1. 세미나 목적

이 세미나는 마가복음서에 대한 최근의 신학적이며 해석학적 연구를 개괄함으로써 마가복음에 대한 신학적이며 동시에 해석학적 이해를 추구하는데 있다. 마가복음서는 최초로 기록된 복음서로서 인정되고 있으며 그래서 마가복음에 대한 이해는 사복음서 이해의 기본이 된다. 그동안 마가복음서는 역사적 예수 탐구의 기초 자료로 많이 활용되기도 했지만, 이 복음서조차도 역사적 사실의 기록이기보다는 저자의 기독교적 신앙과 신학적 입장과 전망에 기초한 신학적 작품이라는데 대다수 학자들이 동의하고 있다. 역사적-비판적 연구에 따르면, 마가복음서는 두 자료 가설에서 Q와 함께 기초 자료로서 마태복음과 누가복음의 기본 자료가 된 것으로 보고 있다. 따라서 마가복음에 대한 이해는 마태복음과 누가복음 이해의 기초를 이루고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 이 세미나는 신학적이며 해석학적 연구로서 마가복음서의 내용을 어떻게 해석하고 이해하며 그 내용을 오늘날 그리스도인들의 삶에 어떻게 적용할 것인가에 대한 이해를 추구할 것이다.

2. 세미나 방법

이 세미나는 독서와 연구 발표로 진행된다. 세미나의 전반부에서는 마가복음에 대한 최근의 연구들에 대한 독서를 한다. 후반부에서는 마가복음의 한 부분을 택하여 신학적으로 또한 해석학적으로 연구하고 그 결과를 발표한다.
